New Zealand has increasing statutory requirements for everyone associated with every project. We specify our high expectations for health and safety right from the beginning, whether it be with prospective employees, clients or subcontractors. Due to working in a high-risk environment, we are committed to ensuring everyone on and around our sites is safe. Our Health and Safety Manager and committee ensure that all incidents, accidents and near misses are followed up appropriately. We hold quarterly toolbox meetings where we hold safety talks, have guest speakers and safety “tag-and-test” our tools. We ensure that all employees complete a Health and Safety induction on employment and endeavour to keep up everyone up to date with new health and safety requirements.
