Collette - Northwest Shopping Centre

Collette - Northwest Shopping Centre

Troake was contracted to complete the interiors at the new Collette store in the Northwest Shopping Centre at Westgate. We provided our services for the supply and installation of ceiling grid and steel stud partitioning, supply and fixing of plasterboard and the stopping and painting of plasterboard.

The site was run by Fletchers and had to adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines - this aspect of the jobs was perfect for Troake as we pride ourselves on being very conscious and compliant in the Health and Safety sector.

It was not a big store, but it was extremely complex and challenging for the fitout team. There were specific details to abide by in the walls and ceiling design - special bulkheads had to be built to hold the lighting for the jewellery displays and recesses need to be built into the wall for the LED televisions. The layout, construction and quality of the ceiling was extremely critical due to the fact it was being painted black when finished. This is not a forgiving colour to work with!

Overall, the end result was extremely rewarding and the store looks great in the new mall!
